A New Chapter: INSC Becomes West Pier Sailing Club

As many of you will have seen in the group chat, our Commodore, James Linton, recently announced a major milestone for the club.

Since its foundation in 2015 as the Irish National Sailing Club (INSC), the club has grown, adapted, and thrived—through Covid-19, numerous regattas, and the support of generous grants that helped us expand our fleet and improve facilities.

We’ve always remained closely connected to the Irish National Sailing School, and that relationship continues.

But with a renewed sense of purpose and community, it’s time for a fresh identity.

From Sunday, 6th April 2025, we will officially be known as the West Pier Sailing Club.

We’d love for you to join us at the school at 5:30 PM this Sunday for a special celebration. Expect a warm welcome, good cheer, and a toast to the future!

Please note: Members will soon begin receiving club communications from our new email address, reflecting the name change. Be sure to check your inbox and update your contacts so nothing gets lost!

You’ll also notice our new logo across social media, and new branded merchandise will be available in the coming days—stay tuned!
